I am a campaigner and social activist with over 25 years of experience advancing equality in Scotland. My journey from Africa to Scotland shaped my commitment to supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable women and families facing complex challenges. As the founder and chairperson of One Community Scotland, I help young people and families settle and thrive.

Magda Musa
Board of Trustees
I was an original member of One Community Scotland's first Board of Trustees. After spending a year in New Zealand, I reconnected with OCS and continue to support its work. I work in international climate change for the Scottish Government and hold an MSc in Equality and Human Rights, as well as a BA in Sociology and Spanish. As the daughter of a Sudanese asylum seeker, and through a lifetime of volunteering in Scotland and internationally, the work led by OCS is deeply personal to me.
